JENSA updates

The proofs for the JENSA@ORNL NIM publication (originally scheduled for June 24) have not yet been made available. However, last week NIM "published" the accepted version (unmodified) online here (ScienceDirect/Elsevier subscription still required for this preprint version). It is my understanding that this same link will eventually point to the final published version.

In other news, minor modifications to the apertures and receivers are ongoing at the NSCL. Pressure tests (especially relevant to SECAR design parameters) are being performed. Upgraded equipment (potentially including larger throughput pumps and a cryogenic gas chiller) is being specced and quoted, as are components for a dedicated JENSA DAQ system.

Lastly, a mini-symposium entitled "Targets for the Next Generation of Radioactive Ion Beam Experiments" is scheduled for the upcoming joint DNP-JPS Hawaii meeting in October. All are encouraged to attend, as JENSA will be featured. Note: if your name is on the JENSA@ORNL NIM publication author list and you have not yet heard from Chipps, Bardayan, or Thompson, please contact them to ensure your name is not left off the submitted abstract author lists.
