PAC41 results

posted May 8, 2017, 11:38 AM by Kelly Chipps   [ updated May 8, 2017, 11:38 AM ]

Unfortunately, the two JENSA proposals to PAC41 were unsuccessful. However, we were given 60 hours to develop control over the isomeric content of a particular ReA beam, the successful demonstration of which would allow us to resubmit one of these proposals to the next PAC. The other proposal will also be strengthened and resubmitted next time.
In the meantime, a new stable source is being installed for the ReA3 accelerator, so the possibility for commissioning runs exists and will be considered. Contact Kelly for details.
